Okay, well-as I said in my last entry, I am leaving SheezyArt. For those who wish to stay in touch with me you can find me on these sites.

Just copy and paste the link...I'm sorry that Facebook doesn't have the easy links like Myspace does. I'd love to see some of you add me on Facebook. I'm very active there and I would love to chit chat with you. I also keep art work uploaded as well as taxidermy stuff (more art and taxi stuff then even on my DA or here.) I upload everything there, and will be uploading even MORE this Summer

This is my NEW DA. I've been keeping very active there. I've already had interest in commisions and a friend was nice enough to buy me s sub there, that's a nice luxury. I know many of you have already added me there, but I'm posting the link again just for the sake of it not being seen by someone that missed it.
I'll be taking down art work and cleaning up tonight.
Thanks to all my loyal watchers here. It's been great.
First thing you should know, is that it's not a cheap hobby. What animal are you interested in and I give you a price range about what supplies and pelt would cost. And the pelt will either be a population control animal, or a scrap pelt from the garment industry, I don't use or sell anything that was killed solely for the purpose of taxidermy or was killed just to be killed.
i can get a taxidermy quality coon (meaning it is skinned especially for taxidermy, they skin things differently when they are intended to be mounted vs. like cut up for scraps) for 90 dollars. Or, I can get a lower grade pelt for about 50 dollars. And yeah, raccoons are so cute...I want to taxiderm one eventually myself .
And, just so you know, these coons are population control from Idaho or South Carolina. I can send you pictures of the pelts too if you would like.
It'll be a while before I do one...cause I still have Natasha and Duke to do lol. But if you are serious about a raccoon, I'll do a bulk order from my supplier and order one for myself as well, otherwise I will wait on mine...it saves me shipping if I do more then one thing at a time.
Oh the usuall...busy busy busy. School will be out in the mext month, so things in that genre are getting hecktic as they pick up pace. My wolverine cast came in the mail today, and the eyes I ordered her should be in either this week or the next...so I'll get to start working on her soon.
Ah, school being out, I assume you mean for good, yes?
Ah, that's great to hear your wolverine came in. ^^~ Something to keep you even more busy. I really wish I had a hobby as such. I mean, I used to sit down and tinker with legos and what not. I kind of like to assemble things.
lol no, not for good, I'm in college, so just summer vacation. It's been a long semester this semester cause I'm taking 15 hours lol...
Yup, the form is so cute, I chose one that wasn't opened mouth after all...cause I just loved the pose of this cast. So I'll be working on sculpting it and getting to together until the eyes arrive when I can start rehydrating the pelt and putting everything in place. I'm still debating whether or not I want to try and put together a habitat base for her or not. You should get some of the advanced model kits...since you like to put stuff together. I used to put those Zoids models lol.
I originally planned on making a habitat base for her, but the pose is kind of cool just free standing, it could go in like the corner of a room and it would look like there's a wolverine just hanging out on the floor lol.
father died, moved to a different state ( which is not bad, i like traveling ) but life's been hard here, moved 3 different times in new city. schedule is always packed, can never do much anyway. i am close to getting fired in the job i have been since jan 29, lotsa racism here. been cheated on, betrayed, used. etc. might not graduate this year even if i am supposed to.
:( man that's rough...I'm sorry. What state are you living in now?
Well, good luck with job and school...my school full time and job full time is kicking my butt right now, just cause the school year is coming to a close and things are getting busy, it's stressing me out, so I kinda understand.
